DAY OF 100+ FACES: Filming at Lincoln University
Through the generosity of Lincoln University and support from the 2015 Leeway Art for Change Grant, we are excited to announce this HUGE day of filming in downtown Coatesville. We wanted to offer more information for any of you who may like to attend.
WHO: Anyone who presently lives in the 19320 zip code, works in the city of Coatesville, or attends school in Coatesville is invited to participate. Anyone who grew up in Coatesville and presently lives elsewhere but considers Coatesville 'home' is welcome. This project is about inclusion; you are welcome here!
WHAT: We will be filming moving portraits of those who attend. Each participant will sign a release, giving us permission to use their image in the film. Participants under 18 who come alone must provide parental/guardian contact info before we can use their footage. Each participant will sit in front of a black backdrop for +/- 5 minutes and look into the camera, making a variety of facial expressions. Our director will give you facial cues, maybe even tell a knock-knock joke or two to get you to laugh.
WARDROBE: Your portrait will capture you from the shoulders up, with an emphasis on your face. It's not necessary to fix yourself up special for this. Come as you are! Don't stress over how you are dressed, since your body will not be shown.
WHEN: Saturday, December 5, 11-3:00, after the Coatesville Christmas Parade. Filming may continue until 4:00 if necessary.
WHERE: Lincoln University is located in the former Gordon building, directly across from Ash Park. We will be filming on the stage in the auditorium. The address is 351 Kersey Street, Coatesville PA 19320.
